Commissioning:Starting with analytical checks, the Orbitek engineer will then put the BPU400 and other elements through their paces. At the same time, your personnel will have a very active hands-on role getting to know the system and becoming comfortable with not only how to operate the equipment, but also in material handling, safety, and testing.
Training:
The training of your personnel will begin before the process equipment arrives with classroom lectures regarding the chemistry, handling characteristics, maintenance requirements and safety issues associated with biodiesel production. Once the system arrives, your personnel will have active roles in training and commissioning. Since the program logic control system will remain the front-line control system, it will be important for the personnel to understand their role as:
- back-up to the system
- maintenance support
- emergency responders
- repair & replacement providers
- material handlers
- quality control supervisors
