Choosing ORBITEK means choosing
a strategic partner with the
people and the expertise to help
make your project a reality.
Working with Orbitek, you will
have a designated project
manager who will act as your
liaison to Orbitek and our
engineering staff. |
 |
 |
Your
project
manager will enter the picture
during the design and build
stage of your project for site
evaluation. During this
evaluation you will be advised
as to how to best integrate the
BPU400 with the balance of plant
being done. While the production
unit has a small footprint and
requires very little relative to
the site work, its proper
placement and integration into
your facility is extremely
important. |
 |
 |
an Orbitek
engineer will be on site at
the time of the BPU400’s
arrival and will direct the
placement and oversee the
installation of the unit.
While the BPU400 is skid
mounted and can be placed
quickly, ensuring the proper
linking of all pipes and
utility connections is
important.
|
 |
 |
Starting with
analytical checks to ensure that
the unit survived its transport
to your site and the
installation process, the
Orbitek engineer will then put
the BPU400 through its paces. At
the same time, your personnel
will have a very active hands-on
role getting to know the unit
and becoming comfortable with
not only how to operate the
unit, but also in material
handling, safety, and testing. |
 |
 |
The training of your
personnel will begin before the
BPU400 even arrives with
classroom lectures regarding the
chemistry, handling
characteristics, maintenance
requirements and safety issues
associated with biodiesel
production. Once the unit
arrives, your personnel will
have active roles in not only
getting to know the unit but
assisting in the commissioning
of the unit. Since the program
logic control system will remain
the front-line control system
for the unit it will be
important for the personnel to
understand their role as:
 |
back-up to the
system |
 |
maintenance support |
 |
emergency responders |
 |
repair & replacement
providers |
 |
material handlers |
 |
quality control
supervisors |
|
 |
 |
Then,
once you are up and running,
while your personnel will be
providing the regular
maintenance our field support
people will be there to assist
you, by phone, email, or in
person, when the occasion
warrants it. Warranties on all
parts is for one year, and
extended service agreements are
available beyond the first 12
month period. |
