Orbitek CEO,
Christian Fleisher, began
working in the
Biodiesel
Technology
industry in 1997 and was
convinced that as demand for
Renewable
Fuels
increased, so
would demand for more efficient
and cost effective means of
production.
|
2000-2001:
|
Christian joined
forces with Cornell
University’s
Graduate School of
Chemical Engineering
and developed the
patented process
technology that
forms the core of
our CFTTM rapid
reaction
Biodiesel
Production System.

|
2003: |
Initial process
demonstration
project, so small
that it fit in a

BPU400 prototype
commercial unit
fabricated and
commissioned
producing ASTM spec biodiesel at a rate
of 4million gallons
per year. It is
currently
operational in
Tulsa, Oklahoma as
an R&D project to
test new feedstocks,
catalysts, fuel
additives and
preprocessing
