Pre-wash

Even feedstock that has been processed before delivery may contain solids that could cause filter plugging for the end user. Taking the care to ensure that your biodiesel will provide the user a trouble free experience is critical to keeping market share.

High FFA

The key to commercial success in today’s domestic industry is to use the least expensive feedstock available in the market. Typically, feedstocks other than refined vegetable oils such as soy or canola have high free fatty acid levels… including refined tallow, palm, jatropha and yellow grease. Orbitek’s robust preprocessing system can take oils that are very high in free fatty acids and convert them into “ready to make biodiesel” feedstock.

Closed Loop System

The Anhydrative Preprocessing system is another example of Orbitek’s commitment to ECO- Logical technology. All waste elements are captured and some can be recycled or reused including the waste water, the captured solids and the excess methanol for a system with virtually no emissions and no effluents.
